The duty of youth is to challenge corruption.

I wish I could sit down and have a chat with Kurt Cobain. He was a marvellous man and I still have so much more to learn about him. I grew up with his voice and the album Nevermind as a child and now his lyrics speak to me, because he was just one of us, a kind and tortured soul trying to find a place and  truth in the world. Parts of his life and death are still a mystery, not just to his fans but to his closet friends and family as well. This is a kind of stab in the dark because to be honest I dont know much about this great man, apart from his talent, rocking the world into grunge and speaking the truth of his generation. Hes changed the world and done some outrageous things in his time. His quirkiness fueled his followers to be different. Ive heard that Kurt use to read all of his fan letters and reply to most of them.

Ive decided to write about him because of the new movie thats coming out surrounding his death. The film called Soaked In Bleach, is to be released later this year. I cant stop thinking about his daughter in this situation and how horrible it would be for her mother to be blamed for his death, she should not have to lose another parent. I dont know what to think, Id never have thought that Courtney would do that and ever since I knew about Kurts death have I only thought of suicide. If Courtney didnt do it, then I feel like this movie is offensive to his family for saying that Courtney wrote the suicide note, which is a very personal thing that I presume that Frances has in her possession. I feel like this movie would make Courtney and Frances' relationship worse. What ever is the truth, only Kurt knows and I hope this movie brings justice to both Kurt and Frances.

Lorde, filling in for Kurt, at Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, giving All Apologies justice
